The official SamTrans Mobile ticketing app offers a convenient way to pay your fare on any SamTrans local or express route. With this app, you can easily purchase and use tickets using your debit or credit card, eliminating the need for cash or exact change.

Here's what you can do with this app:

• Pay bus fare using your phone, without worrying about carrying cash or exact change.
• Instantly purchase and use fares using your debit or credit card, whether it's for a single fare or multiple fares for a group of riders. Mobile tickets must be used within thirty days.

How it works:

1. Go to the Buy Tickets section in the app.
2. Select your mode of travel.
3. Add the desired tickets to your cart.
4. Proceed to checkout.
5. Activate the ticket when the bus arrives.
6. Show the activated ticket to the driver.

Common questions:

• How do I pay for my tickets in the SamTrans Mobile app?
  Debit or credit cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover) are accepted as payment methods.
• Can customers use a commuter debit card?
  Yes, as long as there are sufficient funds in the account. If the card is denied, it may take three to five business days for the funds to appear back on the card.
• If I am having a problem loading the application, who should I contact?
  Please contact customer service at 1-800-660-4287. They are available on weekdays from 7am to 7pm, and on weekends and holidays from 8am to 5pm.
• Do I need an internet connection to buy or use tickets?
  An internet connection is required to purchase and activate bus passes. However, once the purchased tickets are saved on your device, you can activate them without an internet connection.

Important reminders:

• Do not uninstall the SamTrans Mobile app or erase your phone while there are active tickets on it. This will result in the loss of your tickets. Tickets are stored on your phone, allowing you to use them offline. Before uninstalling the app or resetting your phone, make sure to move the tickets to the cloud (see Frequently Asked Questions for more information).
• Activate your ticket right before boarding.
• Show your ticket to the driver upon boarding.
• Keep an eye on your battery level, as you cannot board without showing your ticket.
